Processing Secure Data
Upon signup, your web site was configured to have an SSL directory in its root. This directory is intended to store forms, web pages, graphics, etc. in which you have deemed necessary to be accessed using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption. If you have since deleted this directory, and will not be securing your entire web, we will need to create it again.
In order for you to implement SSL encryption, we must first generate a Certificate Signing Request (CSR) for your web site. Next, we will need to apply for a certificate using your CSR and install it in your web once received. We will then configure your web site to require secure communication for the SSL directory and place all items requiring SSL encryption there.
At Burton Networks, these SSL services are free of charge, provided you purchase the certificate. And, because we are a Strategic Alliance Partner with Equifax Secure, Inc., we can offer server certificates as low as $99 annually. Once your Equifax Secure certificate is installed, please feel free to use their Secure Site image on your secure web pages.
